Where it cannot be moved, the remedies are containment: the door kept shut, the space scrupulously dry and clean, drainage checked, and no worship on the other side of that wall.
What the North-East governs
The north-east — Ishanya — is the most protected corner in the whole mandala. It carries water and belongs to Shiva, and every school agrees on the same instruction: keep it light, clean, open and low. Almost every serious Vastu fault is some version of loading this corner.
Where the Bathroom belongs
Bathrooms and toilets are the rooms the tradition most wants kept away from the protected corners — not because of the compass alone but because of water, waste and the drainage that follows them. Where they cannot be moved, the remedies are about containment.
